John's Birthday at Disneyland

Now that all five of us are in this little teacup we need to spin the wheel and so we can get dizzy.
All smiles on the Finding Nemo sub ride.
We sure did celebrate a great person in a wonderful way! Happy Birthday, John!

My Summer Kickoff

Hurray!!! School is out for the summer. So for Memorial Day weekend Terry and I headed up into Oak City Canyon for a little time out to relax and do a bit of four-wheeling. Oh! The trailer makes camping so easy! Then, came a few days spent in Salt Lake, where Terry worked and I played. One evening we went out to dinner with Dave, Marie, Lauren, and Steve at the Am. Fork Paradise Bakery and Cafe.
Another SL day, my sweet sis, Peggy and I had fun just shopping and hanging out together.
On our last evening in SLC Terry took me to Sizzlers, then to The Gateway for treats at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Co. YUM! Our entertainment was to watch children play around in the water fountain. It was a relaxing and delightful time.We turned around in Delta and the next thing ya know we're headed to Kanab for my granddaughter, Ashley's Baptism. What a joy-filled time it was with Dave, Rachel, Bridger, Braelyn, Bryant, Peter, Nancy, Preston, and of course, Steve, Pam, Ashley, Ryan, and little Emily. The baptism was just for her and that made it even more special. We had a yummy feast and lots of time visiting at the beautiful Jacob Hamblin Park afterwards. GOOD FAMILY TIMES!
Terry headed home Sunday, May 31st and I stayed in Kanab another night. In the morning there was swimming lessons for Ashley
and Ryan.
Pam took me to St. George where I met up with my sisters, Sandy and Peggy for our third "Sweet Sisters Retreat". We missed having Penny with us this time. So on Monday, June 1st we had fine accommodations at the Worldmark Timeshares in St. George - thanks to Sandy. While together, we visited Zion's Nat. Park, rode the shuttle, hiked the River Walk Trail and later in the evening we put flowers on our grandparents, Sam and Veva Harmon's graves
in Overton, NV. We also went to dinner with Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Gail. who live in Logandale. The next morning, Thursday, we went to the St. George Temple and to the Bear Paw Cafe for lunch. Did I tell you that we had root beer floats for breakfast? Someone had to enjoy the vanilla ice cream and root beer.

WOW! It's time to head back to Delta and get packed for five more days in Zion National Park at another rip roaring Lisonbee Reunion with all my immediate family. That's 26 reasons to be happy!!!
